The method international Reflecting Team (iRT) gives higher education (HE) teachers the opportunity to discuss problems in teaching with a transnational group of other HE teachers. This case study aims at providing insights into the cases identified by HE teachers to be of interest for discussion in a transnational reflective session, but also which cases are chosen by the group to be actually discussed. The idea is to give facilitators, who are usually academic developers, insights into mainly chosen problems during teaching and to be prepared, when offering reflecting team sessions.

Zusammenfassung
Die Methode des international Reflecting Teams (iRT) gibt Hochschullehrenden die Gelegenheit, eigene Probleme („Fälle“) in der Lehre mit einer internationalen Gruppe anderer Hochschullehrender zu diskutieren. Diese Fallstudie soll einen Einblick in die von Hochschullehrenden tatsächlich eingebrachten Fälle geben. Dadurch sollen vor allem Mitarbeitende hochschuldidaktischer Einrichtungen abschätzen können, welche Art von Problemen Lehrende häufig in iRT-Sitzungen einbringen und so in der Vorbereitung eigener iRT-Sitzungen unterstützt werden.

Il metodo International Reflecting Team (iRT) offre ai docenti universitari l’opportunità di discutere problemi e sfide dell’insegnamento con un gruppo transnazionale di docenti. Questo caso di studio si propone di approfondire i casi identificati dagli insegnanti universitari per la discussione all’interno delle sessioni di riflessione transnazionale, ma anche quali casi sono scelti dal gruppo per essere effettivamente discussi. L’idea è di dare ai facilitatori, di solito faculty developer e formatori, degli approfondimenti sui problemi più comunemente scelti come oggetto di discussione al fine di essere preparati quando propongono questo tipo di attività.
